3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 First article. When specified (see 6.2). a sample shall be subjected to first article
inspection (see 6.5) in accordance with 4.3.
3.2 Item definition. The scrubber shall be a diesel engine powered machine capable of'
dispensing a cleaning solution, brush-scrubbing the solution laden deck. pick-up and store solid
debris and residual cleaning solution, and with remote extensions, apply high pressure cleaning
solution and vacuum-recover the same in areas inaccessible to the main body of the scrubber.
3.2.1 Major component list. The following is a list of all major components which comprise
the scrubber:
